To be a consistant stiker of the ball your swing must have good tempo and rhythm. Tempo is the speed at which you swing and rhythm is it’s fluency.
Good tempo and rhythm allow every moving part of your body to coordinate as a single unit. Although your head, shoulders, arms, hands, knees and feet have their own function, they must work together during the swing
To find your natural tempo and rhythm concentrate on swinging the club smoothly, start with a half swing. Only when you achieve a solid, consistant strike should you lengthen your swing to three-quarter and the full.
